Linda is miserable in her job. Two years in a row she has been passed up for a promotion and this year she was given a bad review. She has been looking for a new job for the past 6 months with no success. If she didnt have so many financial responsibilities, she would just quit and find some other way to make money. Lucky for her, thats not her style.

Also lucky for her, there are seven steps she can take to insure she will attract the right job. They are as follows:

1. Let go of attracting the right job and start thinking about attracting the right person to work for. This is an important step because she and her new boss can create the perfect job for her.

2. In order to attract the perfect boss, she has to know what that means to her. How would she describe the perfect boss? What does she (or he) do? How does he (or she) interact with the employees? What are her (his) good qualities?

3. She should also have a good idea of what she wants the job to look like so shes ready when she meets the perfect boss. What will the job be? What skills of hers will it use? How will it challenge her? How will it help the company?

4. She can then visualize working for the perfect (for her) boss in the perfect (for her) job. She should visualize this as often as possible as it brings it to her quicker.

5. At this point, she can take on as many qualities as she can from her list of qualities she is looking for in her potential boss. Like attracts like and the likes may hang out in the same places. It may lead her to the perfect place to meet her potential new boss (or someone that knows her or him).

6. Networking is the next step. Hopefully, she wont let this step go by because she is afraid of it. Most people who are afraid of networking dont understand what it means. Networking means getting together with people you do know or dont know. Everyone has friends and family they can network with take them to lunch.

7. The last step for her would be to spread the word wherever she can, whether its through people she knows, the internet, with flyers, etc. She has to work for it to bring it to her.

Linda will start attracting the right job as soon as she starts the first step. The process is not hard, but it does require work. With the right mindset, that could be the fun part.
